Inspiration

Design UI was inspired by the need to design beautiful and functional user interfaces that are intuitive and delightful.

What it does

Design UI is a platform for creating, building, and testing user interface elements. It helps you create designs that can be easily implemented and are built to scale, resulting in better user experiences.

How we built it

We used Figma to design the user interface elements and then built an API server for them to live on. It also runs on a database, allowing users to save their UI designs.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was the database. We also had a hard time designing UI elements that work reliably across various screen sizes and resolutions. Another challenge was finding a way to save the elements in a way that they could be easily accessed and read.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a scalable solution that can be used for various kinds of projects. Plus, we created a prototype of the service and a fully functional API server that can be accessed at any time.

What we learned

We learned that it's important to build designs that can scale. We also learned that a database is the best place to keep track of all the UI elements so that they can be easily accessed and read.

What's next for Design UI

We want to get more UI elements and design patterns up on the site. We want to add support for more features in the future, like a search engine and user profiles.
