Dermatological diseases impact millions worldwide , and we saw an opportunity to harness the power of artificial intelligence to provide accessible and accurate diagnoses and explanations for these diseases

What it does

Our project, the Dermatology Disease Prediction & Explanation System, is a groundbreaking platform. It utilizes deep learning to predict a wide range of dermatological diseases. What sets it apart is that it doesn't stop at predictions; it provides understandable explanations, empowering users to make informed healthcare decisions

How we built it

We constructed this system using state-of-the-art technologies. TensorFlow and Keras served as our foundation. We acquired a diverse and labeled dataset of dermatological images, ensuring quality and relevance. Data augmentation techniques enhanced the model's diversity. The powerful InceptionV3 pre-trained model became our key instrument. Fine-tuning improved prediction accuracy, and rigorous validation ensured reliability.

Challenges we ran into

Our journey wasn't without challenges. We encountered complexities in handling diverse dermatological images and fine-tuning a pre-trained model. Additionally, providing accurate explanations alongside predictions posed its own set of hurdles. But it's overcoming these challenges that made our project stronger

Accomplishments that we're proud of

What's next for Dermatology Disease Prediction & Explanation System

We're expanding our dataset, enhancing prediction accuracy, and seeking user feedback for continuous improvement. Additionally, we're working on a user-friendly mobile application to make our system even more accessible. We're also exploring the integration of medical camp features to connect users in underserved regions with healthcare services. Our commitment is to make dermatological health comprehensive and inclusive
