What It Does - Treatment Recommendations DermaCare offers personalized treatment recommendations tailored to various skin types and concerns, helping users navigate the often-overwhelming world of skincare products.
How We Built It - Technology Used We developed DermaCare using Replit, leveraging Chat and AI tools to create an interactive platform that provides users with real-time advice and insights into skincare options.
Challenges We Faced - Initial Concept Shift Initially, we had a different idea focused on a broader skincare platform. However, we encountered challenges in implementation, leading us to pivot and focus on delivering targeted treatment recommendations.
Accomplishments We’re Proud Of - Empowering Teens We take pride in creating a resource that is designed by teenagers for teenagers, offering a free and valuable tool that promotes informed skincare choices and encourages healthy skin habits.
What We Learned - Code Integration Through this project, we learned how to effectively import and integrate various programs and libraries into our code, enhancing the overall functionality and user experience of the platform.
What’s Next for DermaCare: Informed Skincare at Your Fingertips Looking ahead, we plan to implement updates based on user feedback, introduce new features such as community engagement and expert Q&A, and continuously improve the platform to better serve our users.
