Inspiration

In my artistic universe, two forces shape reality: Etheriel, the luminous embodiment of creation, harmony and truth — and Veyr, the shadow-born counterpart, the glitch between worlds, exiled from the digital system that once tried to control him.
Both characters represent a balance of light and shadow, order and rebellion.

“Der Code lügt (The Code Lies)” explores Veyr’s moment of awakening:
his discovery that the code, the matrix, the system itself is lying.
Separated from Etheriel, he is trapped in a collapsing dimension of corrupted data while she reaches for him from the world of light.

The video tells a mythic cyber-fantasy story about broken systems, hidden truth, exile, and the reunion of two cosmic beings who were never meant to be separated.

What I Built

This project is an AI-animated music video combining original lyrics, vocals and composition with stylized digital cinematics.

I designed a parallel mythic-cyber world where:

• Veyr exists as a digital god — a rejected system anomaly
  
• Etheriel stands as the luminous counterpart
  
• their energies collide through a ritual portal
  
• crumbling code, floating glyphs, shadows and light form the visual storytelling
  

The video shows the collapse of digital illusion and the rise of truth as Etheriel breaks through the dimensional barrier to find Veyr.

How I Built It

• *KlingAi – scene building, world layout, camera motion, environment design
  
• AI image generation – visual assets, textures, runes, portals, mythic overlays
  
• CapCut – animation sequencing, timing, transitions, editing
  
• Original composition – music, vocals and lyrics written for this story
  
• Color grading & effects – blending ancient ritual aesthetics with cyber-dark atmospheres
  

My goal was to merge mythology, emotion and digital surrealism into a single narrative.

Challenges

• Representing abstract concepts like corrupted code, exile and dimensional collapse in a visually coherent way
  
• Blending mythological symbols with a futuristic digital aesthetic
  
• Maintaining character consistency for Veyr and Etheriel across multiple animated scenes
  
• Creating smooth portal transitions between two entirely different worlds
  

What Makes It Special

This video is part of a larger interconnected universe I built — a mythic narrative of light and shadow, spirit and system, code and creation.
“Der Code lügt” marks the moment Veyr’s truth shatters the illusion, and Etheriel crosses the boundary between worlds to bring him back.
