Inspiration

Lack of charging infrastructure : The world requires a widespread charging infrastructure to meet the growing adoption of EVs. In addition to more charging stations, the lack of space is also a challenge since people need a place to charge their EVs. Also, the lack of affordable renewable energy is putting pressure on the coal-powered electricity grid.

Range anxiety : Potential EV customers are apprehensive when it comes to the range that an EV offers. They want to ensure that the vehicle would get them to their destination before the battery runs out. This is closely linked to the lack of charging stations in the country. Therefore, there needs to be a stronger push for charging infrastructure and other solutions like battery swapping stations.

Financial Challenges : EV customers currently face various financing challenges such as limited financing options, high interest, high insurance cost, and limited loan opportunities. As EVs gain widespread adoption, These financing challenges can hinder EVs' widespread adoption in the country.

DePot Application

Every EV user would be provided with an user friendly application to track and book the nearby depots. All the necessary information regarding the charging station would be displayed on the app. Using Machine learning, performance and time analysis of the system would be provided to predict the next charging time and range of distance. UPI or digital payment services has been included for payments and receipts would be generated for financial analysis.

IoT Enabled Smart Charger

With minimal and a compact design, the charging station provided would be given to all small shop vendors to meet the demands on a fundamental basis. The enablement of IoT in our proposed model would make the tracking and booking process efficient. A smart energy meter is provided to examine the utilization and to bring in a transparent system to the whole process.
