Inspiration

We were inspired by the classic "1984" and its concept of doublethink for our themes, as well as by games such as Plague Inc. and Lapse for our gameplay.

What it does

In this demo, you operate the government-owned press of the country of Euphoria, in which diverse regions with equally diverse opinions coexist, striving to keep them happy.

How we built it

We used Godot and C# as well as a tools for making sprites.

Challenges we ran into

Designing an intuitive user interface.

Doing this in 24h without any member dying from caffeine overdose.

We may expand the demo to include more regions, as well as a more polished interface, and possibly publish it commercially.
