Inspiration

Lack of examples on garbage cans and confusion when not all garbage cans are present. It is not an exhaustive list and does not in cooperate mostly everything which makes it confusing sometimes.

What it does

Scans items and teaches users how to sort the trash. Additionally, directs users to the nearest organic waste bin.

How we built it

We used Canva to create a concept of what it should look like and then coded on Thunkable a prototype mobile app.

Challenges we ran into

Trouble shooting on Thunkable since we did not really know how to use it initially so we had to learn.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The mobile app of thunkable and learning how to use the camera on it. As well designing the slide show and directions to the organics bin.

How difficult it is to create an app and also how fun it is

What's next for DEN

Advancing the mobile version and also creating the actual product on TV screens. Additionally, having directions to every single organic bin, paper, and cardboard bin.
