Inspiration
Our inspiration lies in the great technical capabilities, the versatility, and also the incredible community and talent generation throughout the Solana ecosystem. We trust and support Solana and its native DeFi ecosystem, given its technology, and the growth and flourishing over the past year.
We see unique opportunities to develop incredible and useful ideas for today's investors. And since we are also users of investment platforms, we have come across a problem that we want to see solved: Liquidity pools.
The current liquidity pools do not seem efficient to us, nor a good investment proposal. Simply what they offer is to keep your money in a "liquidity pair". And the solution we offer: Multipoint Liquidity provision.
What it does
Delphor offers its users a different investment opportunity: Multipoint Liquidity Provider. Standard liquidity pool: a provider must deposit a pair of tokens to operate. This both tokens trade in pairs (e.g. mSOL/USDC) and the tokens can only be swapped with each other.
Delphor’s system, the Multipoint Liquidity Provider allows users to passively access the best yield generation opportunities in Solana. The Delphor platform will start with 12 tokens, and, by providing liquidity to a single token, you are providing liquidity to 11 pairs, and soon you are providing in all 66 pairs. So, 66 pairs, providing liquidity to one single token. That is Smart Investmen*t and the *capital efficiency is dramatically improved.
Our goal is to offer sophisticated, sustainable, and composable yield products which users can mix and match to produce their desired exposure.
How we built it
We built Delphor using Anchor framework created by Armani Ferrante and in the native Rust language. The UI is written in Typescript and React.
Challenges we ran into
Some of our challenges were the scarce documentation, difficult technical integrations, which were all to be expected from a relatively nascent developer ecosystem. Luckily, we were able to resolve many of these issues with the help of the experience of our collaborators and developer community in Discord. Investigation of how to carry out the system we devised. The sequence and classification of the liquidity providers, how to integrate the different services of the other platforms and how to develop our Delphor Oracle Aggregator.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Having joined the Convergence - Serum & Wormhole Hackathon, we are proud to have been able to build a fully functional and testable prototype on Devnet for those who wish to test the platform and the judges.
Also, of having been able to solve several of the problems that appeared throughout the development period, including those of ideation and research. Try our platform: link
What we learned
During the development period of the Hackathon, we have learned a lot about the intricacies and the trade-offs of protocol design and development in Solana.
Our team is enthusiastic about the potential for Serum markets, Pyth oracles, and the protocol we developed to increase liquidity and we more efficient with our Smart investment system. Our developers are now more capable and knowledgeable in Solana protocol and we look forward to sharing our gained experience with the rest of the community.
What's next for Delphor
Finish the development of the platform, incorporate the Delphor Oracle aggregator, develop the Smart Investment and Portfolio Management section and launch the platform on Mainnet. After launching the platform, Delphor´s next goal is that with our core product suite comprised of automated vault strategies and structured products, we hope to expand to more and better product lines in the near future. We look forward to continue developing cutting-edge strategies, smart investment products and develop it a slick interface for everyone to enjoy.
