Delivery Done Right

Inspiration

We wanted to create a system to minimize contact and save people time.

What it does

It allows residents of Fairfax to reduce contact with delivery people and have visual indication of packages

How we built it

We built it using the raspberry pi as a way for delivery people to interact with, the Web app for Fairfax residents, and the back end using Flask

Challenges we ran into:

We had trouble figuring out why local did not work on deployed version, and setting up an Amazon S3 database.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of the fact that we have a product that can actually be used to help others in the current situation

What we learned:

We learned about what needs to be done when deploying and how different components such as databases and hardware interact

What's next for Delivery Done Right

Adding Discord notifications and Video chat with delivery people
