Inspiration

Millions of individuals globally cannot access and benefit from DeFi and the web3 space due to the high knowledge threshold for entry and poor user experience.

So, our inspiration is to build a platform where people can deposit their stables for the best interest rate in Defi without extensive knowledge of the industry as quickly and simply as possible.

What it does

DeLend aggregates the best interest rates for stablecoins in Ethereum, polygon, and optimism blockchains. The application will deposit your funds in one click at the best interest rate on the market.

After pressing the button deposit in DeLend, the application will: 1)Bridge DAI from Optimism to Ethereum 2)Swap USDT for DAI in Optimism blockchain 3)Deposit DAI into AAVE at Optimism

We saved the user's time from:

finding the best interest rate on the market
finding a bridge to transfer funds
Dexex search for token exchange

How we built it

For frontend we use HTML, CSS. Solidity and hardhat for developing, deploying, and testing smart contracts. Ether js for connecting, making transactions, and aggregating the best APY.

Chainlink to calculate fees for using our DAPP.

Challenges we ran into

Because we did not have experience with frontend most hard part for us was build and connected frontend with our smart contracts and backend

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are 2 junior solidity devs who started developer journey only 4 months ago with Patrick Collins video tutorials and we are proud that we could build our first useful dapp within 1 month

What we learned

We have learned a lot of AAVE, and Uniswap core concepts and how to interact with their smart contracts. How to use Chain link and how to connect all pieces of dapp in one whole.

We learned how difficult, powerful, and exciting building in web3 is.
