Inspiration

Built for class, we were given guidelines to follow. Create a relaxing app that benefited a certain group of individuals.

What it does

As a college student, I knew that move in day was the opposite of relaxing. I made it my goal to make an interior design app that would allow prospective students to layout their room prior to move in day reducing the amount of time and stress on that day.

How we built it

deKUrate was built through wireframe sketches, Adobe Illustrator build outs, Figma production, and XD finalization.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was building the app out enough to benefit a vast amount of people. I conducted deep research to make sure that all topics, questions, and possibilities would be covered.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud that this is the first app I developed. I think it is a great idea that could truly help all college students.

What's next for deKUrate - Interior Design App

I am hoping to make this a real, functioning app one day.
