Inspiration

Dehix was inspired by the fragmented nature of the Web3 and AI ecosystems, where talented developers, builders, and researchers struggle to find opportunities, resources, and collaborators. We recognized that while there's immense innovation happening across Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, Polkadot, and other chains, the infrastructure connecting talent, tech, and trust was missing.

What it does

Dehix is a comprehensive Web3 and AI support ecosystem that acts as a bridge between three critical layers:

Talent Layer: Connects skilled developers, designers, researchers, and builders with opportunities, grant programs, hackathons, and accelerators across Web3 and AI ecosystems.

Tech Layer: Provides integrated tools and resources for smart contract development, cross-chain solutions, DeFi protocol integration, and AI/ML integration frameworks.

Trust Layer: Implements Soul-Bound Token (SBT) certificates as on-chain credentials, verifiable reputation systems, and escrow mechanisms for transparent collaboration.

How we built it

We built Dehix using Next.js for the frontend with a Fastify backend, creating a seamless experience. Our technical architecture includes:

  • Smart Contracts (Solidity): Escrow contract for secure transactions, reward engine combined with SBT certificate system, and on-chain identity contract for reputation tracking
  • Cross-chain Support: Polygon, Solana, Ethereum with chain abstraction layers
  • AI Integration: LLM-powered job matching and opportunity discovery
  • Frontend: Next.js with Web3 wallet integration (MetaMask, Phantom)
  • Backend: Fastify with real-time data processing

Challenges we ran into

  • Coordinating cross-chain smart contract deployments with consistent ABI standards
  • Implementing verifiable credentials that work across multiple blockchains
  • Balancing decentralization with user experience for non-technical users
  • Real-time opportunity matching with constraint-based algorithms
  • Secure escrow mechanisms that protect both parties in gig economy transactions

What's next for Dehix

  • Launch on Polygon mainnet with initial cohort of 100 talent and 50 opportunities
  • Expand to Solana and Polkadot with optimized smart contracts
  • Integrate with major grant providers (Polygon Grants, Solana Foundation, Polkadot Treasury)
  • Build marketplace for verifiable AI courses and certifications
  • Launch decentralized reputation oracle combining on-chain and off-chain data
