Inspiration As healthcare systems become increasingly overwhelmed, seniors are often left without immediate support. Case managers are costly or unavailable, and many seniors struggle with managing medications, appointments, and care plans. We built DEHA AI to solve this gap—making health guidance accessible, empathetic, and always available.

What it does

DEHA AI is an AI-powered medical case manager for seniors. It enables:

24/7 voice/chat interaction for health questions

Smart medication & appointment reminders

Secure health record uploads & interpretation

Personalized support based on user history

How we built it

Speech-to-Text: Real-time transcription using Groq’s Whisper v3

Text-to-Speech: Human-like responses using ElevenLabs

Conversational AI: Prompt engineering with context-aware logic

Local Backend: Secure data handling, record processing, and event reminders

Handling long medical records within LLM token limits

Ensuring voice interactions remained low-latency and natural

Building a clean local pipeline without relying on cloud-based EMR systems
