Inspiration

We saw a funny gif of Jake on google and wanted to have a website with some kind of user interaction.

What it does

Lets the user beat up Jake and make them realize life is short.

How we built it

Utilized PaperJS, Discord Webhook, HTML, CSS and ExpressJS. All these stacks were used and server hosted on OVHcloud. Domain brought under Cloudflare.

Challenges we ran into

We could not align an input in HTML. PaperJS has a lot of documentation. Time constraint and working with new frameworks.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of using JavaScript to allow user interaction. We're proud of all our team members for learning new frameworks.

What we learned

We learned how to use purchase and utilize a domain to host a NodeJS server.

What's next for Defeating Jake

It would be nice if we cleaned up the HTML code for the about page and make it more responsive. We really want to fix the input align but it seems nothing is working.
