Inspiration

First I thought sustainability, then I googled sustainability- related topics, and discovered green mining along with the world of deep sea mining.

What it does

My solution effectively brings polymetallic nodules up to the surface without disturbing the ecosystem and creating sediment plumes.

How I built it

I did hours of googling, compiling information, and thinking of possible real life solutions.

Challenges I ran into

Learning about a completely new topic in such a short time was definitely a struggle, as well as trying to come up with solution

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am proud of my ability to be able to made a video with iMovie since my membership for Premiere Pro ran out when I didn't know. I'm also proud of creating a solution that could actually happen and make a positive impact.

What I learned

Learned all about magnets and deep sea mining, definitely. I have enhanced my googling skills as well.

Hopefully it can become an actual thing in real life in the future.
