Inspiration

Is there an audio/video file you need to transcribe instantly? Manually transcribing audio/video can take hours of time, if not days for longer ones. Imagine typing word for word the transcription of a recording, song, or an interview. That can be a really painful process! Now, you can use an online tool that will automatically transcribe your audio/video files for you instantly.

What it does

deepscriptAI is an AI based transcription tool, which can help you to transcript your audio and video to text with High accuracy.

All you have to do is upload your audio or video and it will transcribe the speech to text for you automatically. deepscriptAI supports MP4, MOV, MP3, WAV, and other popular audio as well as video formats. After transcription completed, you can copy the text for whatever purpose it may serve. No need to use a Word Document or Google Docs to type your transcription. It is incredibly easy and fast!

How we built it

We used tools that make it easy to get right into what matters: creating an application that people want to use. We develop this whole website using WIX & velo, For transcription api we choose AssemblyAI.

Challenges we ran into

Creating a project, deploying it, and adding functionality were full of fun and exciting challenges along the way. One more thing we also face some issues during make website responsive & easy for people.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Committing to something new with the knowledge you are submitting it for judging takes courage, to begin with! I am proud I committed, created something I was inspired by, and followed through by submitting it!

What we learned

I learned how small things take more time. Taking an application from an idea to a functioning thing is a multi-step process that I knew nothing about before beginning my journey with this challenge.

I learned a lot about Velo, WIX & AssemblyAI and going back in time when you make a mistake.

What's next for deepscriptAI - An AI Based Transcription Service

I would like to publish it on real domain and also like to refactor and optimize with a focus on accessibility. Making the application more responsive & multi pages.
