DeepRead

My grandfather has always told me to read literature to expand my knowledge but whenever I opened a classical literature book I got stuck on the first page because I didn't understand what it was talking about. My website is called DeepRead and offers hundreds of classical literature and philosophical books to read with ai chat tutor to help you understand what the book is about, vocabulary flashcards to enhance vocabulary, notes section after each page for people to write their notes on, and ai made videos to offer movie style learning for visual people. I built it using V0 by Vercel and ChatGPT for help on typing the prompts. I ran into the challenge of adding book covers on the books because V0 added random covers that were not the covers of the actual books. With the help of the mentors I was able to add the correct covers of the books and upload the books I wanted. I learned how to develop a website and think about the bigger picture. The next thing for DeepRead is to create movie style videos that go over the plot for the book so people could be empowered to read it. I find it very motivating to do something whenever I watch a YouTube video. If you are not a visual learner, that's okay too. There are notes, ai chat tutor, and the book to learn from. Disclaimer: This is just a prototype, it is still a work in progress. :)
