DeepCoder

Inspiration

I thought of building a visual studio code extension, as I have never built it before so I felt I could learn how to do it and also make use of deepseek api

What it does

DeepCoder is a coding assistant to make developers more efficient using the DeepSeek AI

How we built it

I built it using typescript and javascript, and then deepseek api

Challenges we ran into

I ran into a lot of bugs but I was able to overcome those obstacles

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am happy that I have got over 300 downloads

What we learned

I learnt to reduce the gap between idea and execution as I thought of building a vscode extension and then I just executed straight away

What's next for DeepCoder

I want to make it open source for other developers to make their contributions
