Inspiration
Last year we've already competed in the real state sector but we've found that making more customizable experiences gives the real value to digital life and opens new worlds for immersion.
What it does
Full 360º VR experience for your new House, with our Blender Plugin you can create a 3D recreation of the rooms of your houses and visit them. If any place doesn't feel right for you, you can easily modify it with the power of stable diffusion in-painting.
How we built it
It was developed by a team of 4 reading both Blender API and all the documentation (mostly needing to go to the source code of the software) making it available to be executed on a simple laptop. After carefully reading API documentation, we decided that Features (v4) was the solution around which we wanted to work with since we wanted to make a VR inmersion with an AI scenario and it was the one that best fit our needs. We found a way to cross the data of the masks provided by Segment Anything and the center-points that the objects identified by Features (v4)
Challenges we ran into
AI has big Hardware demands and VR doesn't come far. Creating a suitable solution for anyone's hardware was one of the main challenges, taking into account the huge amount of heavy AI use
Accomplishments that we're proud of
A full integration thinking out of the box. Most of the tools we used for this project are not designed to be used in this way. Making them work even when they only resist felt very good.
What we learned
Teamworking, AI and exploring the limits of existing well-known technologies
What's next for Deep Tour
It would be nice to integrate it with more powerful hardware so the immersion can be taken to the next level
