Inspiration
When hearing about exploration, there were many different directions that could have been taken. We thought of many things, such as deep ocean exploration, space exploration, and the land exploration done by our ancestors. The thing that piqued our interest was deep sea exploration as we have only discovered 25% of our deep sea floors.
What it does
The program takes you on a journey traveling through the depths of the ocean, starting from that of the sunlight zone to the hadal zone. Based on the user inputs, the program will inform the user of the pressure at the elevation and some interesting facts that are harbored in the ocean.
How we built it
We used the information we have learned in our CSA class and other information taken from websites.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into some challenges while making our while loops and learning how to use arrays. We also ran into some problems with finding the true equation for calculating pressure.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we were able to make a program in a short amount of time and being able to learn new things along the way
What we learned
We learned many new deep sea facts as well as how to code and use arrays.
