Deep Filter

Inspiration

People who have experienced traumatic events can often be triggered by seeing content that is relevant to the event including by browsing on the internet.

What it does

Our tool is a chrome extension that blurs any content relevant to user defined filters.

How we built it

We built the extension using vanilla Javascript for the core functionality and the options page was made using Angular.

What we learned

We learned how to build a chrome extension and be able to read and filter content from one.

What's next for Deep Filter

The next step would be to start filtering text and videos as these are also relevant forms of content.
