Wouldn't it be the best feeling in the world to make your coffee at home? No lines to make you wait and no $9 matcha or coffee to empty your bank account!

Inspiration

We love going to cafes, but it can be expensive sometimes. We thought it would be a good idea to still be able to enjoy cafe drinks and by recreating them at home. Deebee's Cafe Recipes allows for people to share recipes that are similar to popular cafes so that people can still enjoy their favorite drinks from the comfort of their own homes, enabling people to keep creating memories and sharing stories without spending $10 on a drink.

What it does

You can browse through matcha and coffee recipes that are uploaded and/or you can upload your own recipes.

How we built it

We used HTML, CSS, and Javascript to develop the website. We used Canva to design the Deebee logo and to plan the layout of the website.

Challenges we ran into

There were a lot of GitHub issues with merge conflicts and duplicate files being made so we spent a good portion of time troubleshooting that instead of developing the actual site.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of the search function, recipe pop-up, and extensive upload features. We are also happy that we finished on time and have a nice color palette as well! We're all proud of attending our very first hackathon and pushing ourselves out of our comfort zone. :)

What we learned

We learned a lot about GitHub and Git, as well as expanded our overall HTML, CSS, and JS skills.
