The inspiration behind Dee Dee stemmed from the frustration many students face when trying to connect with recruiters. As job seekers, the manual process of writing individualized emails to recruiters can be time-consuming and daunting. We wanted to create a solution that streamlines this process and makes it easier for students to make meaningful connections with recruiters.
What it does
Dee Dee is a revolutionary software that simplifies the process of connecting with recruiters. It automates the cold email process by generating personalized emails that match the job description, the student's expertise, and the preferences of the recruiters. With Dee Dee, students no longer have to spend valuable time crafting each email individually – instead, they can rely on our intelligent system to create tailored messages that effectively break the ice and grab recruiters' attention.
How we built it
We built Dee Dee using a combination of cutting-edge technologies to ensure efficiency and performance. For the front-end, we chose React for its user-friendly interface and dynamic components, providing a seamless user experience. Our backend server is powered by Golang, leveraging its speed and concurrency capabilities. To enhance performance, we integrated Redis and gRPC into our backend architecture.
Data storage is handled using both PostgreSQL and MongoDB, allowing us to efficiently store both structured and unstructured data. Additionally, we utilize the power of AI through ChatGPT 3.5 Turbo API and Langchain to generate personalized email content based on context and prompts. This combination of technologies enables Dee Dee to provide a powerful yet intuitive solution for students seeking to connect with recruiters effortlessly.
