DeCred

Inspiration

The idea of DeCred is to decentralized credential more user friendly by hiding the complexities of DID space from user.

What it does

DeCred is a platform which leverages truvity apis to request credential from the issuer of choice. The holder can also see the verifiable presentation for the credential.

How we built it

We use truvity api to issue verifiable credentials to holder. Truvity apis also used in listing issued credential for a did.

Challenges we ran into

The challenge faced different wallets for different issuers and holders.

What we learned

Learned a lot about DID space. Leant how truvity works with DID ecosystem.

What's next for DeCred

DeCred can be extended for verifier entities. In future, we can leverage ZKP and selective disclosures to make it more user centric. Digital credential wallets can be integrated to enhance user experiance.
