Inspiration
Traditional, offline interior textile and home furnishing retail shops (handling curtains, custom wallpapers, sofa materials, and blinds) often struggle with complex customer calculations. Staff must manually compute area metrics, fabric waste parameters, and tiered quality pricing on paper, leading to calculation errors and a disjointed customer experience. We built DecoStudio Hub to bridge this gap, digitizing the consulting workflow into a seamless, automated, and premium full-stack platform.
What it does
DecoStudio Hub is a comprehensive project planner and studio management engine.
- Smart Material Calculator: Allows consultants or clients to instantly input project dimensions (Width/Height) and fabric qualities to dynamically handle complex surface-area pricing models.
- Live Client Quote Summary: A clean, modern digital invoice component that automatically processes metrics (like generating an instant $76,500.00 estimation for a 900.00 sqm layout) and handles print-ready quote downloads.
- Interactive Collections Catalog: A tabbed product showcase (Curtains, Wallpaper, Sofa Materials, Blinds) that lets users browse items like Midnight Velvet or Emerald Silk and click "Apply" to instantly map their base parameters directly into the live estimation wizard.
- Lead Generation CRM Form: An on-site booking utility for scheduling professional measurements and technical fitting consultations.
- Studio Admin Portal: A secure, embedded backend dashboard allowing studio owners to dynamically manage inventory, add new materials, and adjust pricing in a real-time data grid.
How we built it
The entire platform was engineered using MeDo, leveraging advanced full-stack prompt structures to stitch together the React frontend logic, state synchronization (binding catalog cards directly to calculator metrics), and an interactive database matrix for the administrator workspace.
Challenges we faced
The biggest hurdle was establishing smooth data binding between three separate entities: the static inventory matrix, the dynamic text fields of the calculation engine, and the live recalculation layers of the invoice generator. We resolved this through modular multi-turn prompt iterations within MeDo, organizing crisp layout boundaries that ensure zero overlapping elements.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We created an enterprise-ready workflow that solves an immediate real-world business issue. The app features a minimalist layout that eliminates system clutter, highlighting a premium product aesthetic.
What's next for DecoStudio Hub
We plan to scale DecoStudio Hub by integrating real-time augmented reality (AR) canvas elements so clients can visually drape selected curtains or layer wallpaper samples onto live snapshots of their rooms directly from the app interface.
