Inspiration
When the generative model stable diffusion launched, one of the features that grabbed everyone's attention is its ability ti in-paint. i.e. selectively modifying pixels of any image. to produce alternative image. With so many possibilities, I decided to use this feature in interior design app.
What it does
Users can take a photo of their room and get new interior designs in seconds. In addition, the platform provides APIs so that developers can build interior design and virtual staging apps with the same underlying tech that powered Decor8 AI apps.
How I built it
Challenges I ran into
The biggest problems are lack of consistent and deterministic output from generative ai diffusion models. It takes a lot of trial and error with a variety of models and specially, the prompt engineering to get the desired output. I've spent countless hours creating better quality outputs.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The App is available as iOS, Android and web-app, and also as a platform which is accessible using API.
