Inspiration

We noticed that great pitch decks often die in judges’ inboxes — they win applause in the room but fail to spread beyond. As someone active in design, SEO, and creator growth, I wanted to solve this: what if every pitch deck could instantly become a viral campaign?

What it does

DeckWorthy converts a standard 7–12 slide deck into:

  • 3–5 social media carousels with SEO-ready captions & hashtags
  • A 30–45s pitch script & storyboard
  • A one-page landing micro-site with email capture
  • A shareable one-sheeter PDF

How we built it

The concept was designed around low-code/no-code principles:

  • Deck transformation pipeline designed with Figma mockups & Canva prototypes
  • Static landing page templates designed for Cloudflare Pages deployment
  • Content optimization leveraging SEO copy techniques and design frameworks

Challenges we ran into

  • Ensuring the generated content felt professional, not generic
  • Balancing automation with creative storytelling
  • Designing export templates that are flexible yet simple for non-technical users

Accomplishments that we’re proud of

  • Built a visually polished pitch deck that demonstrates the workflow
  • Designed realistic mockups of carousels and landing pages
  • Developed a clear go-to-market strategy: campus ambassadors + creator partnerships
  • Turned a hackathon pitch into a platform idea that could scale beyond

What we learned

  • The importance of distribution — even the best idea is useless without shareability
  • Storytelling is as critical as design in pitching
  • Building with minimal code forces clarity in vision and messaging

What’s next for DeckWorthy

  • Recruit 200 beta users among creators & student founders
  • Develop a plug-and-play template system for decks → carousels → landing pages
  • Explore partnerships with universities and startup accelerators to bundle DeckWorthy with competitions
