Inspiration

As two very indecisive people who couldn't even decide on what to eat before coming to SD Hacks, we know how big of a struggle it is to make a decision.

What it does

Currently, this webapp can help anyone decide on what movie to watch based on the genre provided and the ratings on the tMDB, as well as suggest an album to listen to on Spotify based off of any artist or genre.

How we built it

Using two API's and JavaScript.

Challenges we ran into

As the Yelp API prevented easy access to its database, we unfortunately spent a lot of time learning and attempting to fix the many issues that came with it. In the end, we had to give up using the Yelp API and changed our focus to movies and music.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Mastering the use of APIs and using JavaScipt extensively.

What's next for DecisionMag.net

Implementing Yelp API and expanding the categories in which it can help decisions. We will also be uploading this onto Domain.com once it stops being stupid Also, we will put a lot of time and effort into creating a spectacular logo that fully embodies all of our passion and commitment to this project.
