Inspiration

The high pressure on the network due to the presence of a large number of pilgrims in the same site, which exposes the networks of communication and data networks to lots of pressure

What it does

Our application is a decision support system to solve some communication problems. This application is dedicated especially to lost pilgrims or who are in difficulty to communicate between them. Since the majority of pilgrims do not have telephones, the idea is to install our application on terminals with distributed tablets . The proposed solution offers two services: The first one allows to geo locate the lost pilgrim by indicating the shortest way to authorities concerned by a map of the region with the possibility to print or use the second service to make a phone call. As The high pressure on the network due to the presence of a large number of pilgrims in the same site, which exposes the networks of communication and data networks to lots of pressure , and in order to reduce the financial cost we use the Voice over IP communication, the terminals will be connected using the radio frequencies (the wimax technology) which can cover up to 50 km by antenna, the pilgrim will have the possibility either to call another pilgrim for free or to contact an auto attendant to help him, the communication can be at any time switch to a telephone operator if the pilgrim wishes to make a call to the 'foreign.

How we built it

By installing and Set up an IP PABX Server to manage the communication voice over ip and by Develloping an user interface with Android Studio
