Inspiration
Our inspiration came from witnessing how traditional training methods often fall short in preparing individuals for high-pressure, real-world challenges. We were struck by research showing that immersive, multi-sensory simulations—especially those involving realistic voice interactions—can boost retention and decision-making skills (research indicates up to 90% retention when learners both see and speak). We envisioned a platform that not only replicates critical scenarios (from emergency calls to high-stakes negotiations) but also enables users to experience the emotional intensity of real-life situations.
What it does
Decidio is a cutting-edge simulation engine that immerses users in dynamic, voice-driven scenarios. It lets you interact with a full cast of AI agent actors in settings ranging from emergency crisis simulations to everyday high-pressure decisions. Every voice command and decision you make influences the outcome, training you to think and act decisively under stress. Whether you’re practicing crisis management or simply sharpening your conversational skills, decidio bridges the gap between theoretical training and real-world application.
How we built it
We built decidio by integrating advanced AI techniques with a modular simulation engine. Our system leverages state-of-the-art voice recognition and natural language processing technologies—incorporating large language models—to create natural, responsive interactions.

Challenges we ran into
Developing decidio wasn’t without its hurdles.
- Ensuring seamless, low-latency voice recognition under simulated stress.
- Balancing realism with computational efficiency when multiple AI agents interact in real time.
- Designing scenarios that feel authentic while maintaining user engagement.
- Integrating diverse data sources and feedback loops to adapt scenarios dynamically.
What we learned
Throughout the development process, we learned that technology alone isn’t enough—melding it with human-centric design is key. Iterative testing, user feedback, and real-world data validation were essential in refining our system. We gained valuable insights into how stress and pressure affect decision-making, and how immersive simulations can bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. This project has underscored the importance of adaptability, continuous learning, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
What's next for decidio
Looking forward, we plan to expand decidio’s scenario library and incorporate advanced analytics for personalized feedback. Our next steps include:
- Scaling the platform to support enterprise-level training across diverse industries.
- Partnering with organizations in emergency services, corporate leadership, and beyond to tailor simulations to their unique challenges.
Decidio is just the beginning—a transformative tool that will evolve alongside the needs of tomorrow’s decision-makers.
