One of Decidable's pre-made templates; in this case, one to help the user choose where to go to college.

Decidable was made for Google's Computer Science Summer Institute in 2016. It is a web application designed to help people make big decisions. Users can fill in a table with all of their options, the factors that matter to them (and said factors' relative weights), and then give each option a score in each area. Decidable does all of the math and ranks the options according to their overall score. We hope that this project helps keep people from getting overwhelmed when they have to choose between many things, from where to go to college to where to get dinner. Decidable comes with a few pre-made templates, and also has a blank table where users can fill in all of their own information.

I worked on the HTML which set up the format for each web page. Also, I worked on the CSS behind the hover feature for the different table options on the homepage.

I worked on the python that generated the tables and the javascript behind the tables' "add," "remove," "clear," and "decide" buttons.

Jacqui Fashimpaur
I am a Computer Science major at Carnegie Mellon University. Most of my programming work has been in web applications and computational art.
I designed the page layout in CSS and added a semitransparent box for readability. I also used flex containers to adjust widths and spacing on smaller screens.

I am a 4rd-year mechanical engineering student at Georgia Tech. I enjoy the design aspects of engineering and CS.
