Inspiration

Our inspiration for the Decentralized Voting Platform was to transform the election process using Blockchain technology. We aimed to create a clear, safe, and user-friendly platform that ensures fair and efficient elections.

What it does

The platform manages the entire election process, from voter registration to voting, using various features powered by Blockchain:

1. Voter Registration: Users upload their ID and link a unique wallet address for identification.
2. Election Information: Voters access details about upcoming elections and candidate information.
3. Token Minting for Verified Voters: Admin verifies users, and upon successful verification, voters receive tokens via Chainlink automation.
4. Voting Process: Users use their tokens to cast votes during a specific timeframe.
5. Time-Restricted Voting: Ensures voting occurs only within a specified period for fairness.
6. Admin Panel Functionality: Admins manage candidates, create elections, verify information, and assign candidates.

How we built it

We implemented the Decentralized Voting Platform using Blockchain technology. Smart contracts facilitated the transparent execution of various functionalities. Chainlink automation played a crucial role in token minting, ensuring a fair and secure process.

Challenges we faced

While developing the platform, we had challenges in integrating Chainlink automation seamlessly. Overcoming these challenges required teamwork, creative problem-solving, and a deep understanding of both Blockchain and Chainlink.
