Inspiration
The culture of reading is gradually dwindling and we all agree that KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. The project have identified the following problem;
- Centralized Storage: web2 libraries are centralized and because they are centralized, whatever that happens to the central server, affects the entire library collection.
- Government Censorship: There are certain censorship is centralized libraries. In My country Nigeria for instance, There is this censorship that books that is related to the history of the nation should not be seen and such course should not be studied in the institution of learning. The government are deliberated denying this knowledge from citizens because of reasons best known to them.
- Loss of Books: There are times where books located in a library can’t be found. This could happen due to accidental deletion or deliberate removal by book keepers.
- Video-book format not supported: Statistics have shown that more users tend to watch videos than read a book to understand how a principle work. Web2 minimizes the use of video books and most online libraries don't support video books.
- No reward system for gaining knowledge
