Decentralised Time

Inspiration

I'm located in Berlin but the protocol that I work for is split up all over the globe. So I it is always painful to calculate the time when we schedule a call for people in Sidney. Also there isn't a convenient way to find blocks by UTC.

What it does

It calculates the block number by the date range you specified.

How we built it

React, Etherscan API.

Challenges we ran into

Calculation of blocks in the future, since block time is not constant

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finally a simple app that converts UTC to block number
