What it does

Decentral Democracy is a blockchain-based voting system that ensures secure and transparent voting processes.

How we built it

I used Solidity for smart contracts, Ethereum for the blockchain, and React.js for the front-end.

Challenges we ran into

All of the challenges that come with learning new tools. Not knowing what errors mean (there were a bunch of errors), learning new syntax, why things did what they did.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Learning a new framework, challenge myself to work alone

What we learned

I learned a bunch of things I didn't know about Ethereum and the blockchain in general.

What's next for Decentral Democracy

Complete basic functionality. Add voter incentive system. Add more robust encryption algorithm. Address scalability issues.
