Inspiration

Currently there is not as such platform that can help to verify your documents securely with out involving third party app

What it does

User can send its documents to verifying authority public address for verification and verifier can verify or reject the documents.

How we built it

I used react.js for frontend Development and solidity for smart contract web3 as interaction between these two I have use truffle for deployment purpose and polygon chain for transactions.

Challenges we ran into

New version of react is not compatible with web3 so this is main challenge other one is how to save documents on IPFS through FILECOIN.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The website is now fully working and fully functional we have tested it many times.

What we learned

I have learned how to deal with web3 storage with react and working of web3.js

What's next for Decentid

Currently all verification work is manual we are working to reduce this work to some extent and providing some documents verified badge so no need to verify it every time.
