🌟 Inspiration Debating is one of the most powerful tools for critical thinking, but it's intimidating for beginners. We wanted to make argumentation approachable and engaging by turning it into a fun, gamified journey — like an RPG, but for your brain.

💡 What it does DebateQuest is a role-playing game that teaches users how to become skilled debaters through interactive quests and mini-games. Players:

Build arguments using the Claim–Evidence–Warrant model

Identify logical fallacies in timed challenges

Choose effective rebuttals in debate scenarios

Spar with an AI opponent on real-world topics

Earn XP, level up, and unlock achievements

It’s an educational RPG that transforms debate training into an immersive, story-driven learning experience.

🛠️ How we built it Frontend: React + TailwindCSS for a modern, responsive UI

Backend: Firebase for data storage, progress tracking, and achievements

AI Debate Bot: OpenAI GPT-4 used to generate realistic debate responses

Gamification: Custom XP system, level progression, and badge achievements

Design: Created a fantasy RPG theme with intuitive UX, emphasizing user flow and learning feedback
