🚀 DealForge AI – The AI Operating System for Freelancers

Inspiration

Freelancers spend more time finding and managing clients than actually doing the work they love.

A typical freelancer switches between LinkedIn, Google, ChatGPT, spreadsheets, emails, note-taking apps, proposal tools, and payment platforms just to acquire and manage a single client.

We asked ourselves one question:

Why can't AI manage the entire client journey instead of helping with just one task?

That question became the foundation of DealForge AI.

What it does

DealForge AI is an AI-powered freelancer operating system that helps freelancers throughout the complete client acquisition workflow.

Instead of using separate tools for every task, DealForge brings everything together into one intelligent workspace.

Key capabilities include:

How we built it

DealForge AI was built as a modern SaaS application using:

  • Next.js
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Supabase
  • Razorpay
  • Vercel

The frontend provides a responsive dashboard experience while Supabase powers authentication, database management, and secure data access using Row Level Security.

The application is designed with scalability in mind so additional AI modules and workflow automation can be integrated in future releases.

Challenges we ran into

Building DealForge AI presented several technical and product challenges.

One of the biggest challenges was designing a platform that provides value beyond simply calling a large language model.

Instead of creating another AI prompt interface, we focused on integrating AI into an actual freelancer workflow.

Other challenges included:

  • Designing secure authentication
  • Managing role-based database permissions
  • Creating scalable SaaS architecture
  • Building reusable UI components
  • Integrating payment infrastructure
  • Maintaining a consistent user experience across multiple AI tools

What we learned

Throughout this project we learned that successful AI products are not built around AI alone.
