Inspiration?
Lots of unknowns in the world, I needed to create more knowns for myself. Theirs peace in knowing your in the best position you could put yourself in, To sit back and say "I have done my very best, I have done all I can do". So that sentiment plays out many ways in my life. Having a great idea and acting on that to bring this gift to the world. And just trying my best, as much as I can manage, everyday.
What it does do?
Its a Trustless TrustFund With the Blockchain as the Trustee. You add addresses that you want to inherit your tokens, these addresses can be your own as an insurance if your were to lose access to a wallet, or it could be family members wallet addresses/those you care about as in a classic trust. Theres services out there that exist, "consilierge" services that aid in the recovery of web wallets and funds for self custody, but its truly shared custody and these services all relied on KYC. Well not anymore, DEADNAUT, The TRUSTLESS trustfund, I brought it to you, your welcome.
How we built it?
What kinda question is how we built it?? I had a general Idea, And I carved it out from the mediums I had at hand, namely solidity, I knew what I wanted to do and made the best of the tools I had. Same as any Endeavor.
Challenges we ran into?
were finding references, examples of people doing something similar to what I wanted to do to extrapolate upon and Improve. The system I designed was too niche and innovative of an idea to be able to simply dismantle numerous known functions and compile that into DeadNaut, It didnt prove possible, So I had to stick with the fundamentals and find a new route.
Accomplishments that we're proud of?
It works. Never before has Defi Ever seen anything like this. solving real world problems in a trustless manner. Never again will you have to trust a bigbank even after death.
What we learned?
The Hard Part was never learning how to program, Its knowing WHAT to program. Rarely does a guy have both the gift of a great idea and the ability to execute it alone. It is not he who knows the most programming languages that has the most to offer, It is he who can design a beautifully functioning system with logic as its basis, They are the one who has the most to offer. Look at all the stories that scientist that Bill gates stole MSDOS from, and that other one whoms name I cant even remember. Then you got the rarities like J Mcafee, and Andre Cronje, Systems design minded with logic itself as their starting point, Not a single programming language, but LOGIC the programming language of LIFE itself.
What's next for DeadNaut?
We will listen to user feedback to make it more user friendly, Open up the app to more languages(korean.Spanish,Japanese). Release more tools to increase its ease of use, maximizing peace and minimalizing intrusiveness and stress, stress being a quality nearly innate to DEFI, Im looking to change that. We will release a token that will incentivize users in many ways. With the release of my other projects they will feed into this token making it something youll want hold longterm as an investment in my ecosystem.
