Inspiration

I was inspired by the powerful people throughout history, Malcom X, John McAfee, Jeffery Epstein, Tupac Shakur, and many others, who all encountered one significant pain point over the course of their lives: getting murdered by the government.

What it does

Dead Body Sonr lets you have a contingency plan to ward off those who would cause you harm. If the power brokers/competitors/enemies knew you had a stockpile of dirt on each of them ready to send out upon your death they would have seconds thoughts about their assassination plots. It might even be in their best interest to protect you.

How we built it

We leveraged Sonr, the Internet's drivers license, to build a decentralized messaging app. The app is built using Python interacting with Sonr's api to make sure zipped files of dirt make it safely to all the news orgs and journalists that you specify. DBS determines you've been murdered if it doesn't find an eth transaction on the blockchain from any of your wallets for 6months (configurable)

Challenges we ran into

The biggest hurdle of the project was building out the decentralized aspects as I had no previous experience with web3 or blockchains. I did not know how to architect a dapp properly.

What's next for Dead Body Sonr

In addition to launching dirt, DBS could launch all your funds to your loved-ones as a type of decentralized will solution. This might compromise the original goal of DBS as it might incentive your children/spouse to assassinate you. I will run this by any angel investor that signs up
