Inspiration
Talking about Mental Health has always been difficult, and even more so due to pandemic. People who need support do not have access to timely help and yet there are so many people on Social Media, who say-please reach out to us in case you need help!
What it does
So we came up with this idea of building a unique platform that matches- the support system person with the person who wants to talk so that nobody's mental health has to keep waiting! It aims to connect people based on location, preferences for one on one chat and support. In addition, we also want to provide the functionality for inspirational blog posting. In order to connect people who want to offer support-will be encouraged to introduce themselves and talk about a time they faced a challenge/setback and then encourage people needing help to speak up. On the other hand the profiles of people seeking help are kept completely confidential
How we built it
We built a basic prototype in Figma (Design) and then tried to set up a basic website /webapp in Express, NodeJS, HTML and CSS

Trying to decide how much detail to include! Exactly which functionalities to set up in the code
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We built something that aims to tackle a real issue!
What we learned
There is huge difference between theory and practice!
What's next for DE stigma/ Priority One
Add authentication! Make it a safe platform, add all the cool features like keeping profiles private, functionality for blog posting etc.
