challenge

Problem Statement

  • Most of the online application and tender filing platforms used by governments and various institutions are centralized.
  • The centralized nature of these platforms lead to lack of transparency of the application status, as well as lack of security

On going issues in society

-Since the data on centralized servers is accessible to internal entities, someone with wrong intentions can leak private information such as budgets filed in some tenders, or can change some details updated on the server, leading to various losses to various entities.

-Since most of the time once data is filed on the system it is not transparent to everyone and the status of applications remains hidden, various routes of bribery have made their way to these systems.

Proposed Solution

  • Decentralized Application and Tender filing System will allow users to get registered and have their account on blockchain itself, with a facility to add kyc details with the help of CRD network and chainlink oracle.

  • User will then be able to create the applications or tenders by creating new smart contract, this means every application or tender is a new smart contract and so is every submission.

  • User would be able to search through the platform and file the application or tender form our site by creating a submission smart contract with encrypted data whose values can only be read after the opening period or allowed authorities as per the needs.

  • A system to back track the status of all the applications will also be created

  • We also plan at developing AI based solution running in cloud to check for any malpractices.

Roadmap

  • Development of Decentralized Tendering System :- April 2022

  • Development of Decentralized Application form filing system :- May 2022

  • Transparent Application status Tracking System:- July 2022

  • Governance Development:- sept 2022

  • AI development for malpractices tracking:- jan 2023

Impact

  • The proposed solution will address the stated challenges by providing a Blockchain based PaaS to get application forms as well as Tenders filled, without worrying about security or transparency of the system.

  • Since all the data on the blockchain will be end to end encrypted, smart contract releasing the decryption key only after a set period of time, introduces high security as well as privacy of data

  • Since blockchains are inherently transparent and as data once uploaded on block chain can’t physically be changed, introduces strong sense of transparency.

Main challenges to be faced

  • Integration of various oracles
  • Integration of IPFS system to store large files uploaded while filling the applications
  • Introducing Encryption of data before executing a web3 command
  • Scaling the solution, and managing the blockchain frees
  • Approaching governments to accept these PaaS as their main system

What's next for De. Application and Tender filing

The ultimate success of this project will be considered when it would be able to provide secure as well as transparent platform as a service to various governments as well as institutions for all their application filing needs with systems to backtrack everything. This will help reduce substantially reduce corruption and bribery in all their forms.
