Inspiration

DCreate is a fully decentralized creation platform. It mainly focus on the creation level. It provides users with an easy to use front end. to help them generate their own NFT smart contract within few clicks. Users can paint on-chain on many levels: Independent painting, group painting as well as Public painting. All the NFTs data are stored in IPFS/Filecoin making them secure, decentralized and accessible anytime.

What it does

So far projects creators use to struggle in order to have their art listed on a marketplace. With DCreate that issue is no longer relevant, as we already automated, users get to produce upload, list and sell anytime anywhere. Note that the creation can be done on-chain as well as off-chain.

How we built it

Our ability to see what actually important to the industry was enhanced by working on other projects. Before being able to discover a secure and decentralized place to display their product, users have to endure a long suffering. Then we wondered why we wouldn't hand over front-end control, automate the creation of new projects, uploading of project data, uploading of Whitelist and Airdrop list, and pressing of a final button that will automatically generate a contract.

Challenges we ran into

It took some time to learn Motoko, after which we started writing the contract, assembling a team and then a few months later we started operating and creating products.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our tool is on Testnet however we ran a public test with within the community, and it went pretty smooth, as many we did receive several positive feedbacks from them, many did like it and mentioned they would be using the tool, as its has the power to create a brand new type of NFTs, some also mentioned that this tool is the future of NFTs.

What we learned

Perseverance, belief in ourself and our team. And positivity.

What's next for DCreate

We would like to keep supporting our co-creation tool, by upgrading its functionalities toward perfection, new trend always happen in the market, and the power of a good team will be to know how to adapt and keep your community up to date. It will take a lot of courage and perseverance to make people accept new things that were never created or seen before. It's a bet we jointly took, so we'll do our best to make it mainstream, used by millions of creators around the world.
