Inspiration
Just wanted to build chat bot that would help planning for day trips!
What it does
Recommends attractions and restaurants. Compiles all to a list with friendly natural language interface.
How we built it
We have AWS running the server, TripAdvisor API fetching the data, and interacting with users on Facebook chat messenger.
Challenges we ran into
AWS DNS issues.

It works great.

Learned wit.ai and using TripAdvisor, Facebook APIs.
What's next for daytripadvisor
Submitting to Facebook for required review to publish it. Getting acquired by real TripAdvisor. (duh)
