Inspiration

The rise in global sea levels

What it does

Uses a machine learning model to determine the sea level in the future via an interactive slider. Provides resources to aid in ocean help.

How we built it

Built the machine learning model in Python 3.10 with Matplotlib, numpy and scikit learn

Challenges we ran into

• Getting the machine learning model to work
• Rotating the globe image
• Hosting the website

What we learned

• Learned about hosting and project development in teams as well as learned tools such as Linode, NodeJS and Machine Learning

What's next for Days Left

To improve the visuals for the website and provide more resources on ways people can help with the rising ocean level crisis.
