Inspiration

Every day, people struggle to balance tasks, deadlines, and personal responsibilities. Traditional to-do lists help us remember things, but they don't always help us decide what to focus on next.

DayPilot AI was inspired by a simple question: What if organizing your day could be as easy as having a conversation?

Our vision is to make everyday productivity simpler through an intelligent, voice-first assistant inspired by Amazon Alexa+.

What It Does

DayPilot AI is a personal productivity assistant designed to turn everyday requests into structured plans.

The initial prototype supports:

  • Task Management: Add and organize daily tasks.
  • Priority Management: Identify important activities.
  • Daily Planning: Generate a structured daily plan.
  • Voice Input: Enter requests using browser-supported speech recognition.

The longer-term goal is to let users interact naturally with Alexa+ to manage tasks, plan their day, and receive useful assistance without navigating multiple applications.

How We Built It

The initial version is a browser-based application developed using:

  • HTML5 for application structure.
  • CSS3 for responsive interface styling.
  • JavaScript for task handling and planning logic.
  • Browser Speech Recognition capabilities for supported voice input.

The prototype provides a foundation for exploring a more intelligent assistant experience with Alexa+.
