DAYMARK—Make Every Day Count
Inspiration
DAYMARK was inspired by a common problem: knowing what needs to be done but struggling to stay consistent and focused. Managing daily tasks, deciding priorities, and avoiding procrastination can make productivity difficult.
I wanted to build a simple, visually appealing productivity dashboard that brings task management and focused work into one place. DAYMARK was created around the idea that small, consistent actions can make each day more productive.
What It Does
DAYMARK is a dark-themed productivity web application designed to help users organise their daily work and monitor their progress.
Its key features include:
- Task Management: Add, complete, and delete daily tasks.
- Priority Levels: Organise tasks by importance.
- Focus Timer: Use timed focus sessions and short breaks.
- Daily Statistics: View task completion and productivity progress.
- Progress History: Visualise daily activity through a history chart.
- Persistent Storage: Keep tasks and history saved in the browser using local storage.
- Responsive Interface: Access the dashboard across different screen sizes.
How I Built It
I built DAYMARK using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
