Inspiration: As juniors in High School, we wanted to create an app that would help us better manage our time.
What it does:
Our app contributes positively to users' mental well-being by reducing stress and anxiety associated with managing a busy schedule
Helps users feel more in control of their time and responsibilities.
Simplifies scheduling, allowing easy input of events
The app generates details of your morning or evening, ensuring a clear overview of the day's agenda
How we built it: We used code.org and the help of our mentor to build our app.
Challenges we ran into: We ran into multiple bugs in our code that we had to fix.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: We were able to create an app that works and runs smoothly.
What we learned:
We both learned more about collaborating and working as a team to develop and design a running app using code.org
We learned about debugging and problem-solving when coding
What's next for DayFlow: We could expand our app by adding the function to say how long you want to be on each event or adding an option to add the day or week of the event.
