Inspiration
Daydream was inspired by the concept of still meditation spaces.
What it does
The island garden serves as a mini retreat with a few interactive elements to support multiplayer engagement.
How we built it
The project was built entirely with Horizon World Editor, leveraging both public assets as well as Gen AI.
Challenges we ran into
Implementing some of the intended interactive elements within the world scene as well as making background elements dynamic proved to introduce more nuance than initially anticipated.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The overall scene for the still meditation space turned out much better than initially anticipated. Despite not being as dynamic as intended the resulting scene is a good balance between meditation and retreat.
What we learned
The project was a crash course in using Meta's 3D world builder as well as incorporating generated content.
What's next for daydream
The gameplan is to do a small rollout to see what users enjoy most about the experience then include more meditative activities such as bubble blowing and painting.
