Inspiration

A photograph is often the most familiar part of a pet tribute. I wanted to make a complete imagined clip easy to inspect before someone uploads their own image. I operate this project; this is not an independent review.

What it does

One dog or cat photo can become a flower-bridge journey, a warm gate scene, a framed ofrenda or a quiet rainbow-bridge tribute. A user chooses a configured scene, supplies a JPG/PNG/WebP up to 5 MB, signs in, checks the credit cost and submits. A clip requests 10 seconds, vertical 9:16, native 720p MP4. Optional original ambience is separate from any viral recorded song.

How I built it

Hono serves the tool and public guides from Cloudflare Workers. D1 tracks accounts, credits and saved jobs. EvoLink submits the model task. Private Backblaze B2 storage and authenticated delivery separate a finished provider task from a usable owner result. Current one-time credit packs are 1/$9.99, 3/$19.99 and 5/$29.99; this is a paid hosted service, not an unlimited free generator.

Challenges

A provider completion flag cannot judge paws, markings or the ending. Private transport, complete downloads and visual review are different checks. A revised crystal-gate request was rejected for possible copyrighted/trademarked content and reported no charge. It was not retried. This failure is part of the test record.

Accomplishments and learning

The complete fictional golden-retriever demo is public. A separate offline Python/FFmpeg metadata helper checks dimensions, duration and streams without uploading a file. It cannot verify likeness or music rights. Confirmed technical failures return charged credits once; visual-defect review follows the site's policy.

What's next

Improve measured scene consistency and add permissioned, fictional subject examples without treating those as customer outcomes. Inputs are private with a seven-day window and unresolved-task exceptions; completed results have a thirty-day window. No clinical benefit, real afterlife or guaranteed likeness is claimed.
